1099 Games released in 2009

That’s a lot of games! Just one game short of 1100 games where released in 2009, yeh we had the big ones like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins Creed 2 etc but there were plenty of less well known games released too, for both the Major and Minor platforms. The number is up on 2008 by a few, 2008 saw the release of 1092 games, not a huge difference. Hopefully next year we will be able to beat that 1099, and the number will include a few more quality games than last year. One thing is for sure though, its tasty profits for the game companies and its fair to say the better standard the game, the more sales, the more profit so it pays to create a decent game instead of packaging up a bad one and trying to convince everyone its good.
