Battlestar Galactica

Is there a single person out there that doesn’t want to see a proper game based on this franchise?  Who do I have to kill to get this done?  If you haven’t watched Battlestar Galactica yet, then get of the internet and buy the series on DVD now.  Who doesn’t want to fly around in a viper blasting cylons? Running around the Galactica.. Blasting cylons?  Exploring the twelve colonies.. Blasting cylon’s.  It’s a no brainer, everyone loves blasting cylons, am I right! I know we have already seen a PS2 and Original Xbox game, as well as an Xbox live arcade one too, but it’s not the same!

Believe it or not Brian Singer is apparently making a “Re-Imagining” movie of this right now, I mean come on, the show is only just over and it was pure quality and you stick the guy who ruined Superman on it? Bad move!  Battlestar Fail!

Anyways, a game based on the TV series seems like a match made in robot heaven.  As we reported earlier there is a MMO game coming out but its browser based which is great and everything, but it’s not the same as playing on the PC, 360 or PS3.  Maybe some day, the one true god, will answer our prayers.  So say we all.

Back to the Future

Anyone ever play the old Back to the Future games on the C64?  Looking back now they where terrible, but back then they where the amazing!  Flying around hill valley in the future of 2015 on your hoverboard, not too far away now and I still don’t see any pink Mattel hoverboard’s flying around!

Let me hit you with this, how about a Grand Theft Auto style sandbox game based on Back to the Future?  Picture it, you have a massive map, let’s stick with Hill Valley from the movies.  You start off meeting the doc and he gives you the DeLorean.  From here you can now time travel back and forward and the Map changes around you to reflect the year you travel too!  You could have things change slightly based on the year, how cool would that be?  It’s a pipe dream at this stage, but you cannot argue it wouldn’t be sweet.

Sniper game

Pure and simple, the title says it all.  Give me a proper full on sniper game.  Yeh, sure, there have been many attempts over the years, some games even manage to get it right sometimes by adding in single levels where you play as one, the recent Modern Warfare 2 did a decent job in that regard.  Still though, we have yet to have a great game where you play the whole way through as a sniper.  I’m sure everyone of you out there loves when you get to the level where you play the sniper, how many times have you argued with someone in Halo about who gets the Sniper Rifle, cause you got some mad Skillz with it?  Just make a decent God damned sniper game!

Stargate

I know, I know, it’s on the way apparently, but sweet mother of Jaysus hurry up would you!  The MMO Stargate game, that was worked on for years has been canned after the money dried up and recently Cheyenne Mountain the studio behind the new Stargate Resistance game has been plagued with problems.  Filling for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy a while back.  Stargate Universe will be finished and another Stargate TV show will be out before we get to shoot down some Goa’uld..
